HOW IT WORKS
New to NFTs? Don’t worry! We’ve simplified the process to make it easy for both new and seasoned collectors to join in on the excitement. Follow the steps below to get started:
Step 1: Visit nyknft.com to sign-up and unlock your experience. You will follow simple steps to create or connect an existing account through our NFT partner, Sweet. Your personal Home Court Collection will act as a virtual showcase for displaying and interacting with future Knicks Collectibles that you purchase.
Step 2: In your personal Home Court Collection, you will see a list of upcoming Knicks home games at the garden. If you have not already, purchase tickets and attend games to cheer on the Knicks and purchase these exclusive NFTs in the arena.
Step 3: Each NFT will become available for sale on game days when the doors open to fans. Come early and purchase them!
Step 4: If you are not able to attend some games or the NFTs sell out, don’t worry - other fans may list their collectibles on Sweet’s marketplace where you will be able to purchase them.
Step 5: Try to achieve various milestones by collecting multiple Knicks NFTs. Each milestone will unlock a special NFT!

To ensure each digital collectible’s unique authenticity, Sweet uses blockchain technology to demonstrate rights ownership and authenticity. This is similar to receiving a "certificate of authenticity" with unique physical merchandise like a signed baseball card.
What blockchain are the New York Knicks NFTs minting on?
New York Knicks NFT Collectibles are minted on the Polygon Network. Polygon greatly reduces the carbon impact of NFTs via its efficient Proof-of-Stake (PoS) network. In comparison to other blockchains, Polygon consumes just 0.00079 terawatts (TWh) of electricity per year. To put that in perspective, one transaction on Polygon is the equivalent of watching a 30-60 second video on Youtube.
